I have read what I need to do but am not sure just how to do it. Also sounds
like I may loose every thing if I'm not carefull

You should have kept this in the same thread that you originally posted in.
If you have Windows starting with the Common Folder opening.

Post back with your startup log pasted into a message and someone will see
if they can find the offending entry.
