i installed win xp pro on my presario lap top and do not have any of the
original software. win xp works great no issues except that i do not have the
power scheme for the battery in the power option properties and no battery
metter on my tool bar. so now i have no way of seeing how much battery power
i have left and can not adjust the battery power to run optimal on my lap top
when i do not have it pluged in. the battery still runs the lap top with the
ac unpluged. i have tried deleting the acpi in the device manager with no
results. i can not find any info on compaq web sight and when i go on compaq
support chat the people seem to know less then me. can some please help?
