I have a problem with download in that when I start a download some time
later the connection with the server I am downloading from is reset. This
only happens when the dowload window appears and not when downloading windows
updates or MSN messenger updates. I have windows XP home edition and IE 6.

Your better off posting this problem in internet explorer 6 newsgroup .
Scroll down on this page. On the left marging you see internet explorer6 /
Outllook express Select one of the newsgroups there.
