Hi, I recently had spyware on my computer, a friend of mine somehow
cleaned it out and everything seems to be working right, but now I
can't use my desktop display options, I am able to use Themes, Screen
Saver, Appearance and Settings under Display Propertires but not
Desktop ... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit the registry (start>run>regedit.exe)

[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System]
amd/or
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System]
Value Name: NoDispBackgroundPage
Data type: REG_DWORD
Value Data: (0 = Tabs, 1 = No Tabs)
Or delete "NoDispBackgroundPage" in the right-hand pane.
