Desktop missing items
Posted by Tim C. on January 7th, 2006

After updating Windows XP Home Edition with SP2, the desktop does appear as
it should. When I boot the computer, the desktop apears with icons, status
bar, etc. but everthing disappears after a couple of seconds. The only thing
that I see is the background.

I am able to access programs though the Windows Task Manager but that is not
a real efficient way to use Windows.

Does any one have any suggestions?

Thanks
