Different hyperthread turn off
Posted by bonzadog on January 29th, 2006

I'm coming to this discussion 2 years later, but have similar question.
The directions for turning off h-threading in P4 don't quite match my setup,
so I would appreciate
clarification of last four steps.
Bill Crocker clearly describes steps.
I , however, run into a wizard which does not allow for these steps.

Left click on Properties
Left click on the Driver tab
Click on Update Driver

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The only place to turn off hyperthreading is in the BIOS.
