Disabling Hyperthreading
Posted by ROhB on October 22nd, 2005

Hello,

I'm trying to install Pro Tools 6.4 but it instructs me to disable
hyperthreading 1st. I know one does this by going to the system bios, which
I've done. The problem I don't see an option for disabling hyperthreading.
I have an HP Pavilion a375c.
Any pointers? I've been searching everywhere for anything but no luck.

Thanks.

You could/can disable the 2nd processor listed in device mgr.
