I understand when using disk cleanup that you do it on the c drive are you
supposed to do it on the d drive which I think is the recovery drive. I have
windows xp and this is all new to me..trying to get my computer cleaned
up..and running faster, and what else can I do to keep my computer cleaned
right to make it run properly.

Please help
Thanks,
Deb

Deb,
This may help alot...
disc cleanup on c drive is good, D drive is your cd rom usually.
Go to google and search "AVG FREE"...which is a free anti virus and cleanup
program...very good.
Also downloads.com for Adware. I run those two with my disc cleanup, defrag
once a week and run windows firewall. I have never had any problems.
