I kind of feel like formatting my C: drive and reinstalling Windows XP,
I've always wanted to figure out how to do this while keeping my D:
drive intact and future functioning. My D: drive is where I keep all my
games, I have ~70 Gb of games installed and don't look forward to
reinstalling all of that from optical. Seem like there should be some
way to export from the registry all of the D: drive keys and entries and
then load that back in after formatting and reinstalling windows. I'm
just looking for someone who might have accomplished something similar.
I have a ton of software installed on my C: drive (166 folders in
Program Files) so that's already going to be a hassle.
The system isn't crying out for a cleaning, it's running pretty well, if
I can't figure out a way to keep my games, I'll probably just wait for
when I change my motherboard.
