- Do not see scanning process before password sign in page opens
- Posted by smartsnake on April 3rd, 2006
When I turn on my pc, usually there is a scanning process (a colored bar
moving from left to right ) on the screen before a password sign in page
appears.
Although the sign in page still opens for me to type in password and do my
work, but I do not see any scanniing of hard drive before sign in page opens.
I tried the Restore, but it did not help.
Can anybody tells me what to do?
Other than this problem, my pc seems functioning just fine, and no
virus/spyware is detected.
Thanks.

You will not see the XP logo when you are resuming from Standby or
Hibernate.

Hi Ted
I did not use Standby or Hibernate.
I turned off the pc after use, and turn on the next time I want to use it.
