Drives are not showing in My Computer
Posted by getomlinson on December 6th, 2007

In Explorer, none of my drives (C, D or removeable) show up in My Computer,
making it impossible to transfer files. When I plug in a removeable drive, it
shows up for a few seconds, then disappears. Other file management programs,
PowerDesk and xplorer2, have the same problem. Under My Computer, it only
lists Control Panel, My Documents, Shared Documents and Visitors Documents.
In PowerDesk, the drive bar shows no drives. The Go To Drive button shows all
the drives, but clicking on any of them does nothing.

My question: Why aren't my drives showing in Explorer and how do I fix this?
Thanks

Hi,

Do you have Tweak UI installed?
If so, open it and select My Computer then select Drives and make sure all
the drives are checked.

If you don't have Tweak UI you can get it here.
