- Posted by Tzar86 on May 2nd, 2006
Hi I have been having this problem over and over with Windows Xp Proffesional.
I will get an error message
"Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete *--*:Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use."
I have tried to reboot, safe mode, and the cmd
anyone got a solution i'd be much obliged?

Hi there Tzar,
Do you have file sharing in the directory that these files reside in? If
so, right click on the file, and left click on properties. Click on the
sharing tab. What do you see there?
Let us know what happens.
Best Regards,
~Will
