I have a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop and have noticed that lately the fan does
not shut off. I've been turning off the computer and restarting regularly
without any change. The bottom doesn't seem to be unusually hot and
everything else is working fine. Just an annoying inconvenience. Any ideas
why this is happening?

I wonder if your advanced in computers? hope so! Start labtop go into BIOS
setup look for performance or something like that look for fan change option
to auto shut off. save and exit this should work
