Seems like an easy question, doesn't it? I'm suspecting something is amiss
in my system and not being able to do this simple check is making me even
more nervous.

Instructions say to Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools then
System Information ... however, my picks only get as far as Accessories; no
pick for system anything after that.

What is another way to find the bios version and date?
