I have a Gateway Brookings with 800 MHz Intel Celeron.256K memory is
installed. 20 Gig Hard Drive. It keeps stopping and has to "hiccup"
frequently. I have run ckdisk and disk cleanup. When looking some of the
specifications it said that the
"swap file disables". Is this anything to be concerned with? Page file
usage is set at 384..and runs in Task Manager usually above 370. I am not
very adept at changing settings, am afraid I will mess it up completely. Any
help?
