Ok so I have had my dell I9300 for about a month with windows XP SP2, I
scheduled tasks to be run at various times (Spybot S&D,WIndows Defender,AD
Aware,Dfrag,DskCleanup, etc) and left them to their devices. I checked them
and none have been run, so I tried to re-scheduel them. I put in my password
and went through the steps, still nothing now it says I dont have admin
access, so I go to my admin profile and check the profile I was working from,
full priveledges, so I just tried to schedule in admin profile, now the task
scheduler service isnt active, so i service.msc to get to the list so I can
activate it, well it wont start, especially when im in safe mood which brings
me to my next delema, I can only get to my admin account when im in safe
mood. So here is the gist of it
-task scheduler wont let me schedule
No admin access, thought I fixed now "access
denied try using the Task Page Button to locate the app" which I have done
and its still messed. Have Dlld all the updates I can, my firewalls all allow
my security programs to connect to the internet
Can only gain access to my admin profile in safe
mood, the icon just dosent show up when I log in normally.

Oh only one that was working in task scheduler was MS Scheduled Scan creator
is SYSTEM
