This computer would previously connect to the internet through a different
computer. I am running XP Home on dial up (not by

choice)
I am getting an error message just minutes after logging on to the internet
that says "Generic Host Process for Win 32

services has encountered a problem and needs to close"

At the same time I am getting an error in my event viewer that says
Time Provider NTP Client: An error occured during DNS lookup of the manually
configured peer "time.windows.com,0x1' NtpClient

will try the DNS lookup again in 15 minutes. The error was: A socket
operation was attempted to an unreachable host

..(0x80072751)

At the same time I am getting an error in my event viewer that says

Time Provider NTP Client: An error occured during DNS lookup of the manually
configured peer "time.windows.com,0x1' NtpClient

will try the DNS lookup again in 15 minutes. The error was: A socket
operation was attempted to an unreachable host

..(0x80072751)
Then one by one all of my Services start shutting down
any web pages that I have open closes and my computer thinks I am not online
but when I pick up my phone I am. I have to

reboot my computer to close the connection.
Thank you for any help you can give me
