- Help can not open add/remove programs

I keep getting parse error line 1. Some how my Nortons has been deleted and I
can not get it reinstalled. Also my computer will not recognize my dvd/cd
drive. Can someone please help me with this. Scared to get online without
Nortons and taking claases on Internet.

For the Add/Remove Programs issue, see if the following workaround helps.
(Posted earlier by MVP Sharon.F for a similar problem).
