- How do I reinstall Windows XP? Please??
- Posted by steve on December 12th, 2005
I have the cd rom and put it in the drive during startup and a box says it
wont continue because the version I am trying to install is older than what I
already have installed. Is there any way around this? And if I do manage to
do it, will it wipe the hard drive in the process? Thanks a lot.

Hi
You may be able to slipstream the XP CD you have:
http://www.msfn.org/articles.php?act...showarticle=49
and then perform a 'Repair' install of XP. Pleas see the following article
