Somehow a virus finally managed to get into my computer and with it, a few
spyware files. I believe I have clean it out but for a few days it was doing
disasters in my system.
However, now I can't change anything in my taskbar and can't change the
image of the wallpaper.
When right clicking on the taskbar nothing happens. If I open the taskbar
properties via control panel, the "lock taskbar" option appears grey and
looks like completely disabled.
When going to "display properties/dsktop" it doesn't let me change anything
either. I can't pick any other image and can even move the scroll bar to
check the list.
Also, everytime I restart my computer, the task manager goes disabled by
administrator according to the message that pops out when typing
ctrl+alt+delete.
Everytime I run gpedit.exe and change settings for that so I can use the
task manager again but when restart, goes disabled again.
Can anybody throw some light on this issue?, what may be happening?, how can
I fix this problem?.
I will be eternally grateful for any help I can get.
Thanks
