My PC shuts down completely when I log off. What could cause this?

It's the normal operation of your computer. To change it, see your user
manual or check with the computer manufacturer. You may need to change a
setting in the BIOS.

No it isn't. Logging off should bring you to a screen that lets another user
log in.
"Turn computer off" is what should shut it down completely.
