- Lost Menues: Start<Program on the Desktop
- Posted by maligold on January 20th, 2006
Hi:
When I try to access either Internet Explorer or Outlook Explorer
clicking on: Start<Program ... on the left side of the screen,
there are NO 'Internet Explorer' nor 'Outlook Explorer,' although others,
such as 'Word,' 'Norton' and all others are on the program after 'clicking'
Start on the left corner.
Then, I access Internet Explorer or Outlook Express by clicking 'Icon'
created in the middle of the screen.
However, I am VERY uncomfortable not to see those 'critical' menues
on the program.
How am I able to 'recover' those 'two' critical menues on the Program?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Selecting start the left side shortcuts are populated by what program
shortcuts you select with >All Programs. In other words if you start some
software package frequently it will supplant one of your left side short cuts
with that.
Try : Selecting what you don't need by selecting with the mouse and
right-clicking the mouse and remove it. Eventually your desired shortcuts
will come back.
