- Mapped network drive caused system to bootup slow
- Posted by Dan on October 6th, 2005
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 9200 laptop. There is one mapped network drive
which is active and available. When I bootup into WinXP, it bootup fine
except it took about 30secs to refresh the desktop icons. I found out if I
disconnect the network drive, the bootup was instant to the Desktop.
I also found out this occurred only to this user profile. Can someone help
please?
