Is it Possible to protect a folder by the use of a Password.

XP Professional: Use the built-in Encrypting File System.
XP Home (and XP Professional): Purchase third-party encryption software.
In general: Always become /extremely/ familiar with the operating
instructions before you use any encryption system.
