- Performance Concern

I'm running a IMB laptop with Windows XP Pro, service pack 2. There are
times when I boot up that an application listed as DLAB60.EXE, running under
the SYSTEM user name, takes up large amounts of the CPU. This will continue
for 10 - 20 minutes. Then, it stops using the CPU much and everything runs
normally. I've been searching to try and find out what this this is, but
can't find much info. Can anyone help me out?

If you're not sure whether a file is malicious, you can upload it to web
sites such as VirusTotal (http://www.virustotal.com) and the File
Research Center (http://www.fileresearchcenter.com/), each of which will
determine the nature of the file.
When web searches for an executable turn up dry, that's a sign your
computer is infected, and the behavior you're observing is a second sign.
