- performance Monitor
- Posted by Yogi on October 3rd, 2005
I'm trying to remote monitor system performance of a windows 2000 server
using a Windows XP workstion. I can see the processes that I want to monitor
on the server and select them, but the log or allert will not start. I'm
sure that I'. seeing the list of items onthe server because my DHCP and DNS
services show up on the list. The event error message is:
The service was unable to add any counters to the Processes log or alert.
This log or alert will not be started.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you
