I purchased a PC Booster program from the McAfee website that was supposed to
analyze my PC and make adjustments so that the system would run faster. To
make a long story short, it crashed my system. Luckilly a system restore
brought me back up, but the PC has been super slow ever since. I went into
the System Performance Settings from the control panel and changed everything
to Automatically determined by Windows.

Is there a way to run a Windows Repair Utility that will analyze the system
and set it back up to how it was when I first installed windows? I realize
that I will probably need to do all of the updates and service packs again,
however the last thing I want to do is a fresh install and have to re-install
all of the programs.
