Hi,

I have the "Restore previous folder windows at logon" ticked, and have
checked the appropriate registry entry
(HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ex plorer\Advanced\PersistBrowsers
) is set to 1 (in Hex) as it should be, but when I logon, my previous folder
windows are NOT restored. Does anyone have any suggestions? I had a quick
search, and when other people ask about this problem, they seem to be told to
tick the Restore... tickbox, even though they have said that it's already
ticked. Is there any other solution? I've had the problem before, but as my
computer had so many other problems as well, I just formatted it and
reinstalled. I'd like a less drastic solution if there is one.
