- Restoring Problem

When I went to my last restore point it was at point that i still had the
same problems going on with my computer that i'm now trying to solve
ive seem to have lost one of the two CDs needed to restore my computer that
way.
and my Backup is not in my System Tools.
Help?

Contact the company that you purchased your system from..Dell..HP..??? and
request a new set of recovery CD's.
You will need to pay a nominal fee
Or describe your specific XP problem and maybe someone here will know the
answer

Switch off your PC and then switch on again. As soon as you get the black
screen keep repeatedly pressing F5. This gives the oppoertunity to start in
"Safe Mode". Choose "Safe Mode" by pressing "Enter" and then start system
restore from there. I had the same trouble(on Vista) and this worked for me.
