- Saving files
- Posted by Kim Rice on April 17th, 2006
I have recently run into a problem with trying to save documents and other
files to places other than my computer. When I try to save something to an
external flash drive, the program becomes non-responsive. It does this
through both Word and PowerPoint as well as when I try to copy a file from my
computer to another location through "My Computer" and "My Documents." I did
not used to have this problem, so I do not know what is causing it. I have
installed all the latest updates from Microsoft.com and the program still is
non-responsive when I try to do a "Save As" or "Copy this File" to another
location.
