- Service Pack 2 Error Message

When I try to load Service Pack 2 it tells me "Service Pack 2 Setup Error -
Catalog files failed to install". Then when I try to remove the partial
Service Pack 2 it will start and tell me it's preparing to fix catalog files
and then it stops. I can't get it on the computer and I can't get it off.
What's a catalog file? How do I fix this?
