shut down problem
Posted by RipperT on November 11th, 2005

Ever since I installed SP2 on a friend's machine, it will not shut off on
its own. It's stuck forever on the 'Windows is shutting down' screen until
somebody throws the switch, which isn't a big deal, but I'm wondering what
might cause such behavior. My sister in laws machine does the same thing,
starting with when I installed XP home on it.
What gives?

Thanks,

Rip
