Hello.

I have been getting that message lately my WindowsXP machine. I have been
getting it for some time now and still get it after a recent reformat and
fresh install of XP. I have all the critical updates and SP2 installed. After
doing some research I have read that there is a Microsoft supported hotfix
for this problem. Before I email/call support I was wondering if anyone here
might know where I can get the hotfix.

I'm sorry, I left out the message. " Windows File Protection
Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by an
unrecognized version. To maintain system stability, windows must restore the
original version of these files."
