- sp2 update file empty!
- Posted by Swisscanadianlady on February 9th, 2008
I can't install Office 2007 bought yesterday because the software claims I
don't have sp2 installed. So I went to download it. Took forever. Then it
finished downloading and I get this:
Install Update
Download size (total): 0 KB*
Estimated time at your connection speed: 0 minutes*
(*Download is ready to install)
What's this? I am so frustrated with Windows. I'm taking Office 2007 back to
the store on Monday if I can't use it. I would have changed to Mac years ago
if it wasn't for a couple of farm data software programs that are only
available in Windows!

Think about what you said.
You finished downloading it. (You said this yourself.) After you finish
downloading something - what is the download size? (How much more do you
have left to download?) ZERO. Then it even tells you that the "Download is
ready to install" because - as you said - the download is finished.
There is an "Install Update" button --> what happens when you click it?

You can switch to whatever computing platform you want - but if you have
trouble with comprehension - a different platform is not going to correct
that. ;-)
