Hi
I made a restore-point
installed a program (Norton Antivirus 2002) but regretted and uninstalled
ran system restoration - something vent wrong in the reboot
now some programs can't run or run strange
I can't start System Restoration, the window is blank
can you help

Do a 'repair' install.. http://www.michaelstevenstech.com..
When all is well again, consider using something newer than Norton AV 2002..
the program is way out of date.. a good alternative, and free too, is AVG
Anti-Virus v7..

Hi,
Try running System Restore from Safe Mode.

If this is successful either choose to undo the previous restore or
restore to and earlier date.
