- System Restore Points
- Posted by stephenfunari on December 8th, 2005
We have a custom application that runs on Windows XP. Would would like to use
the Restore Point feature of the operating system for our field service
personnel. Is it possible to edit the Filelist.xml file to add the
appropriate file extensions for our application so it can be monitored by the
Restore Point feature of the OS?
I did not find much information on the MSDN web site about the list other
than the actual list of files that are contained in the file.
Thanks

Hi Stephen,
I have not attempted to edit Filelist.xml, but MS advises against it.

Thanks, Steve
