System restore wont work
Posted by borg1of1 on October 19th, 2005

I have a section of downloaded photo partialy covering my desktop screen and
highlighted icons and cannot remove this damage. It occured as soon as I
downloaded the picture thats obscuring my screen.I have continually tried to
perform a system restore but keeps telling me that my computer has not been
changed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe that System Restore will take care of the image on your
screen. SR is to restore changes to your system, such as the registry
etc. Please Right click on a blank area of your Desktop, & choose
Properties. Navigate to the Desktop tab, & choose whatever you would
like for your background.......or choose none. HTH

what about if the picture you have used as wallpaper is covered by white and
the right click and reset the background is locked?
