Taskbar corruption
Posted by Thunderdonkey on February 13th, 2006

Frequently, when I log in, I find the separators on the Taskbar are in the
wrong places. It is not possible to put them right because some of them have
crossed over others and can't cross back. I can fix the Taskbar by deleting
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\StuckRects2\
in the Registry and re-starting Explorer; but it is getting to be a real
pain because it happens almost every time I log in.
Does anyone know what might be causing this, or how I can monitor my system
to find which program is doing it?

Thanks, but I've been there. It only cures the symptom, not the cause!
