- UNable to access configuration for MIcrosoft Personal Web Server
- Posted by Sebastian Carson on January 14th, 2006
Hi,
I'm a newbie here and I've done something wrong on my PC which uses XP Pro
with all patches applied and Office 2000 Pro. I had difficulty with Office
so I (foolishly) tried to install the office programs separately from the CD.
Eventually I got that straightend out and everything works great BUT now I
get a pop up window at the start that says "UNable to access configuration
for MIcrosoft Personal Web Server"
I checked MS support site and saw references to Front Oage when i searched
for this error.
I don't have front page installed and I don't see it on the add/remove column.
I don't need or use any kind of web publishing.
How can I stop the message?
Thank you,
Sebastian

Your may post this in office 2000 newsgroup. I may be wrong but I don't think
there is way to get there from this page. I would open help and support.
Select microsoft user groups. Look office 2000 newsgroups and post there.
