I recently had to do a re-install of windows xp. Now ever since my usb ports
haven't been working properly. My computer won't recognize my phone, although
it does play the little chime. It also won't recognize my zune, it also plays
the chime and even charges. And, finally it won't recognize my printer.

Sorry so long, but I tried all that and still didn't work. But since I had
some issues during the re-install I didn't want to risk trying it again. Our
internet connection was still up and we needed that to. Once I had access to
another pc, I went ahead and wiped the old one and re-installed again. Now
all is good.
