I downloaded Windows Office from the MS site. It then asked me to "Activate".
This process was so slow or locked up, so I tried to stop the activation. It
locked up mu computer. So I did a hard shutdown. Upon rebooting, I got a
message about a serious error, and check disk came on and checked, etc.

So, I uninstalled the Office Program, but now my machine still runs real slow.
It was fine before.
