- Windows contain other windows data
- Posted by lmelnik on April 19th, 2006
I've had a couple of instances on my XP - SP2 machine with 4 heads. When I
move a window (Excel) to another part of the screen, andotehr window will
assume Excels look. So Notepad's title will have Excel's title and some of
notepads text area will have the grid and menus from the Excel spreadsheet
that should have been in Excel.
After a minute or so, it cleans itself up, but sometimes its more like 5
minutes.
Any ideas?

How's your antivirus and adware status? Something, either
malware or corruption or something you've installed that your
machine isn't handling well, is keeping the processor too busy to
get the screen painted. Too few details given for anyone to
offer much targetted help.
