Cannot find Creative Zen Vision:M?
Posted by jopa on February 22nd, 2006

Hi!

I bought Creative Zen Vision:M today.

When i try to connect my player with usb it says it cant find any driver for
the Zen Vision:M, why?? (It should work as a WPD and use Windows XP driver)

Can there be any conflict or any other setting in my computer that "stop" me
to use WPD?

I have Windows XP SP2, I have the latest QuickTime , I have installed all
software on the CD and I have connection to the Internet, so whats thr
problem? I have USB 2.0.

Need help quick!

Thanks

Do you have Windows Media Player 10 installed? The install package
includes the MTP driver that Windows uses to connect to the Zen Vision.

Also make sure that you have the latest firmware from the
www.creative.com site.
Even though this did not work for me. I can connect at home but on my
work computer I cannot.
