- Does PMC only work in windows XP? Any driver or program needed?
- Posted by Pedro on October 11th, 2005
Well I think the only good think of windows media player 10 is to convert
the formats that are not supported by, in this case, the samsung YH-999...I
would like to use the PMC as a disk primarly, so i know I can transfer data
directly without using the media player 10, like this "startbutton"->"my
computer"->"PMC drive"->"data folder"...but can i do with all computers?? Or
only with the computers that have windows XP?? Also to do this, do i need
drivers or programs??
Please Help
Thank you
Peter

It's a USB device so, yes you do need a driver to access it. It does not
present itself as a normal storage device. Instead it uses a media centric
protocol that accounts for DRM and other media specific issues. You can't
really use it as a generic storage device.
