First off, you are in the wrong group. This is for portable Media Centers,
which is an extinct MS product, overshadowed by numerous other portable
media players supporting Plays-For-Sure, and then the Zune. You really want
one of the microsoft.public.pocketpc. family and specifically
microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync
To start though, you do have ActiveSync installed, right? It should have
come with the 2215 on a CD, along with a version of Outlook that should
work. The 2215 incidentally doesn't actually have Outlook 2003, it runs
Pocket PC version 2003, and comes with individual applications that sync
with the componenents of Outlook on the desktop. Outlook 2002 should work
fine.
The first thing you should have done is install ActiveSync on the PC. First
time after that when connecting the 2215, you should have been prompted to
create a partnership, which would also prompt for what items you want
sync'd.
If this hasn't helped, I would recommend you take the question to the
newsgroup I mentioned above, and provide a little more info than you did
here initially. You will get the benefit of many more activesync/partnership
experts than you will find here.
