Lost File association

I installed an AVi player (which was not worth it), but for some reason it
removed my music file associations, so when i select an mp3 (for Example) it
does not send it through Media Player??

any one have a clue how i reset the permissions, i have not be able to find
a download to reinstall.

In Media Player, go to Tools, Options, File Types and reset the association there.
