MP10 doesn't recognise my pocketpc
Posted by JimJam on January 3rd, 2006

Does anyone else have this problem? I've got a pocketpc running windows
mobile 5.0 with activesync 4.1. I'm using a SanDisk 1Gb miniSD storage
card. According to ActiveSync, all I have to do is plug in my pocketpc,
select sync tab, select my storage card & off I go. Only problem is that
MP10 doesn't seem to detect my storage card no matter how many times I hit
the F5 key (& I'm starting to hit now!)... This scenario isn't even touched
on in the literature... Windows Mobile 5.0 is supposed to be fully
functional with MP10 but obviously not in my case. Sorry for dribbling a
bit but finding this seriously frustrating & nobody at Microsoft to take it
out on! ActiveSync & everything else works fine, & able to explore storage
card from desktop. Just seems to be MP10...

If anyone has any ideas what may be wrong I would be most grateful. Cheers!

You should post to one of the mobile devices newsgroups, Jim. This
newsgroup is about Media Center Edition portable devices, not PPCs.
