- Advice on buying a new printer
- Posted by Zachary on December 4th, 2004
Hey people.
I'd like to buy a new printer which'll have to be an HP since I need a
bottom tray input. My needs are not that high, I'm a student so most,
if not all, of my prints will be b/w. I've been searching around and
what I think fits me best is either 3550 or 3650 or 3745. The problem
is that 3550 no longer produced and it has the best review, the other
2 either lousy built or drink ink like there's no tomorrow. If anyone
has anything to say about it or has another good advice for me I'll be
glad.
Thanks all of you.

This is no longer correct. The new Canon printers have BOTH a bottom loading
AND a top loading tray and can print duplex.
Check them out. The Canon printers are very fast and print great pictures.

If you only print b/w then try a laser printer. they are not that expensive
andare cheaper to run.
