He will not find the information he requested on the Epson website...
perhaps you should try reading the posting more carefully before replying.

I THINK YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT FROM THE EPSON SITE.

His message was a bit choppy (he missed a word), but he was more than
likely referring to MY printer manual for unclogging Epson print heads
(Epson Cleaning Manual). Epson's manuals don't really offer any
solutions to blocked print heads.

I know you were trying to be helpful, although with a bit more arrogance
than was required....

Sometimes you have to learn how to read BETWEEN the lines, however ;-)

wouldn't hurt for the person with the sarcastic response to understand that
Arthur Entlich is one of the most helpful, skilled, people on this NG. If
you want to make cutting remarks on the NG, why not save them for the idiots
who only come on to flame or misinform. Or --- better yet, just try to help
without the caustic edge.

Yes, I was trying to be helpful. When someone asks for a printer manual, I
think it only natural to point them towards the manufacturer's website. It
is unfortunately far from uncommon for people to ask for help without taking
even the most elementary steps to help themselves first. It was not at all
clear to me from what the OP wrote that he was looking for anything other
than the Epson manual.

As to the arrogance, yes, a little. I sit here chastised.

Apologies.

Please take a lesson from your own words. I made no comments directed
towards Arthur, caustic or otherwise. Arthur's helpfulness and skill were
never questioned or challenged.

If you are going to flame me, perhaps you should first know what you are
flaming me for.

READING THE OEM MANUAL BECAUSE THEY DO NOT LIKE ANYTHING THAT SAYS OEM.

OK, guys (I'm assuming), let's not allow this friendly exchange to
escalate, especially over little 'ol me.

Commentator has graciously recognized he misread the original poster's
request and intent. He took no offense to my pointing that out, and
neither have I to his comments, so please let's just leave it be.

Thanks to both of you,

Art
