Best color laser for refilling?
Posted by DoubleEntendre on August 11th, 2006

OKI has chips, QMS has fusers, others have processors that determine when a
cartridge is out or a consumable needs replaced, USUALLY WAY
PREMATURELY!!!!!

What is the best unit for refilling & extending the consumables now days?

For those that "spread FEAR" about this, I had a QMS 2200 that I replaced
fuses and refilled many, many color cartridges without a hitch. It's just
wearing out now, time to move on.

Thanks!

the toner carts for refilling, I think it is now replaced with the C5400n.
Not the cheapest printer to buy but over the long haul it is proving to be
quite economical.

This is by far the best printer I have ever owned, about 15 months old now
and never a paper jam or any other problem, Gotta love it.

DoubleEntendre <potatoesjoe@yahoo.com> writes
bits as it wanted (particularly fuser roller and OPC drum). I believe
there's a fair selection for refilling many of the HP lasers. Or look at
Kyocera's printers which seem to have the most tank-like build quality
now.
